Stefanie Manthey
ACUPUNCTURIST
Compassionate acupuncture with special interests in women’s health and neurological concerns.
Stefanie Manthey, R.Ac., brings a distinctive combination of experience in Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine to her acupuncture practice. She completed doctoral medical studies in Germany and worked for several years in a neurosurgical department before pursuing acupuncture.
Her connection to Chinese medicine began much earlier. Stefanie’s father, a paediatrician, incorporated acupuncture and Tui Na when caring for children in his clinic. She later witnessed acupuncture being used by an anaesthesiologist while working in medicine—an experience that renewed her interest and ultimately helped inspire her career change. Today, Stefanie has particular interests in women’s health, fertility, neurological concerns, stress, pain and general well-being.
